I recently took another train journey within Finland. Generally, I have so much to say about the central railway station in Helsinki, its rich history, its and beautiful architecture. Plus, I can’t say enough about VR (Valtionrautatiet, or Finnish national railways in English) and the excellent service they offer. They even have a nice restaurant and a special coach for kids, complete with toys to keep them entertained during the ride.

But today, I want to talk about something else: traveling with pets.

I have to say, taking pets on VR is super easy and comfortable. They even provide a dedicated coach for passengers traveling with their furry friends! I really love this feature, as it’s not something you see everywhere. It makes traveling with pets a lot more enjoyable!

You don’t see it, but there’s a kitten inside the bag. The dog is sniffing carefully, curious and hopeful, like he might’ve just found a new friend for the road.

This was another trip with VR. Look at the kitty, sleeping like no one is watching.
